Note This visa stream lets you visit Australia as a tourist to see family and friends or for purposes other than business or medical treatment. For more information see Tourist stream (apply in Australia). Additional applicants are not eligible for this visa. Each person, including those listed on your passport, must submit a separate application. A subsequent temporary application charge may apply for applicants in Australia. This includes applicants who have previously applied for another temporary visa in Australia. Eligible applicants who provide the department with supporting evidence may qualify for a nil visa application charge. Subclass 600

Streamlined 'Apply again' Visitor visa option for eligible Papua New Guinea citizens

From 1 July 2026, eligible Papua New Guinea citizens can use a streamlined 'Apply again' option in ImmiAccount when applying for a Visitor visa (subclass 600) in the Business Visitor or Tourist stream. The option is available to Papua New Guinea citizens with a history of immigration compliance who have had a subclass 600 visa in either of those streams finalised in the previous five years. Further details are published by the Australian High Commission in Papua New Guinea.
