About this copy

Original factual summaries describing what each official form is for and who lodges it. No form fields, layout or text are reproduced; the official PDF remains the only form.

Platform-authored navigation; no lawyer or registered migration agent reviewed this catalogue. It does not assess eligibility, points or suitability for any person.

Purpose

A paper application for the Visitor visa (subclass 600) in the Business Visitor stream, for travellers coming to Australia for short-term business activities such as meetings, negotiations, conferences or trade fairs. It can only be used in limited circumstances after the Department gives written notice permitting a paper lodgement.

Who lodges it

The individual visa applicant lodges it for themselves; family members cannot be included and each must apply separately. Another person may help complete the form, but the applicant must sign it.

When it is used

Used by a person outside Australia who has received written notice from the Department that they may apply on paper for the Business Visitor stream, rather than applying online through ImmiAccount.

Visas that commonly use this form

The official visa page lists what an application actually requires.
