Parent visa
A permanent visa for a parent of a settled Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen. Applications are processed through a queue.

With this visa you can
- Live, work and study in Australia indefinitely
- Enrol in Medicare
- Sponsor eligible relatives to come to Australia
- Apply for Australian citizenship, if eligible
