Occupation list

Tasmania does not publish its own occupation list: it says every occupation on the Australian Government's subclass 190 and 491 lists fits at least one Tasmanian pathway. It does publish health, allied health and teaching occupation groups with their own conditions.

Tasmania's terms limit reproduction, so only the official links are given.

Invitation rounds and places

Tasmania has 1,250 places for subclass 190 and 800 for subclass 491 in 2026-27. Invitations began on 20 August 2026 and are issued progressively. No invitations are planned for 2026-27 in the subclass 491 Overseas Skilled Occupation Profiles pathway.
