Purpose
This form is used to ask the Department to waive a No Further Stay condition (such as conditions 8503, 8534, 8535 or 8540) that otherwise prevents the visa holder from applying for most further visas while they remain in Australia.
Who lodges it
The visa holder on whom the No Further Stay condition has been imposed; another person may assist with completing the form.
When it is used
Used by a person in Australia whose visa carries a No Further Stay condition and who wishes to have it waived, typically on the basis of compelling and compassionate circumstances that arose after the visa was granted.
