Purpose

This form records a sponsorship from an authorised state or territory government agency that is required for the Investor Retirement visa. It is submitted together with the main retiree visa application to evidence that sponsorship.

Who lodges it

The visa applicant completes their own details in Part A, and an authorised officer of the sponsoring state or territory government agency completes the sponsorship section in Part B.

When it is used

It is used when applying for an Investor Retirement visa and must be lodged, signed and stamped, together with the temporary retiree visa application (form 1383) within the validity period of the sponsorship.
