Form 1008 - Complete this form to apply for a temporary Bridging visa E (BVE) if you want to Stay in Australia while you finalise your immigration matter or are making arrangements to leave Australia.
Purpose
This form is used to apply for a Bridging E visa, which regularises the status of a person who is unlawful or would otherwise have no lawful basis to remain, while a substantive visa application, review, or ministerial intervention is resolved. It may also be used to change the conditions of a held Bridging E visa.
