Form 1007 - Complete this form if you want to Stay in Australia for a short period of time until you are able to apply for a substantive visa or, are granted a Bridging visa E (BVE).
Purpose
This form is used to apply for a Bridging visa D (subclass 040 or 041), a short-term visa for a person who is unable to lodge a valid substantive visa application, or who cannot or does not want to make one at that time. It provides limited lawful status pending resolution of their situation.
