Home Affairs updates Subclass 870 visa page with Pacific Island and Timor-Leste cost concession

The Department of Home Affairs has updated the Subclass 870 Sponsored Parent (Temporary) visa page. It now states that from 1 July 2026, eligible citizens of Pacific Island countries and Timor-Leste will pay a lower visa cost when lodging a valid application. The page also notes the visa permits stays of up to three or five years and that concessions apply in limited circumstances.
